Three members of Yukon Local 2055 accepted the 2007 Jim Clark Memorial Emergency Response Agency of the Year award on behalf of the Yukon Fire Department.  Brad Pappe, Kyle Trumbly, and Lee Andrews resonded to a call at the Yukon Fine Arts Center where 18 year old Lacey Hunt had gone into cardiac arrest during a Senior Awards program.  They took over CPR and used their automatic defribulator on the patient, returning her pulse immediately.  They then intubated her and stared and IV before EMSA arrived and took her to the hospital.  Lacey has since made a full recovery and was able to graduate with her class.  She presented the three fire fighters with their award at the State EMS Association Annual Conference in Enid.

Congratulations to Brad, Kyle, and Lee.  Keep up the good work.
