David Underwood

Representing the IAFF Locals of; Ada, Ardmore, Broken Bow, Durant, Henryetta, Hugo, Idabel, McAlester, Noble, Pauls Valley, Purcell, Seminole, Shawnee, Sulphur, and Wewoka.

David Underwood has served with the Shawnee Fire Department since March of  2001 and currently holds the position of Training Chief.

From 2002-2009 David served as the Secretary / Treasurer for the Shawnee Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 206. Prior to joining the fire department David served seven years in the United States Air Force.

David was elected as 4th district vice president at the 2008 convention and re-elected at the 2010 convention.

Hello 4th District Brothers and Sisters,

We had a great convention this year and hopefully it was just as informative for those that were able to attend as it was for me.  We also had a great turn out at our legistative reception.  A great job was done by our convention committee.

Hopefully, everyone has sent in their letters of intent.  If your Local has not sent it in and need assistance, please contact the office and the staff will be happy to assist you.  With the current condition of the economy and cities cutting back everywhere, please do not hesitate to contact myself or the office with any assistance you may need in negotiations.
